PHP Link Directory

We are please to announce the immediate release of our PHP Link Directory script. There is no charge to use the software on your site. However, we do ask that you maintain the link to Netcreated.com in the footer of the directory OR send $25 to help this software better for all.

Version 1.1 Now Available!
1. Now using Smarty template system for the front end.
2. Better link validation prevents multiple listings for the same domain.
3. Now you can export the entire directory as html so that you can upload to any website. Simply visit html.php (You must chmod tmp, tmp/cache and tmp/compile to 777 for this function to work)

Installation Instructions:
1. Upload the Directory folder to your server (and all the files inside). You may rename the folder as you wish.
2. In the tmpl folder, use an ftp program to edit the permissions to 777 for conf.php and the tmpl, tmp, tmp/cache, tmp/compile folders. This will allow you to change the settings and email messages in the admin panel.
3. Create a database and edit conf.php to reflect your settings.
4. Use phpMyAdmin or your favorite mySQL tool to add the tables to the database found in database.sql
5. Edit tpl/index.html to fit the "look and feel" of your site.

Administration:

Go to yoursite.com/directory/admin.php. The default login is demo/demo. You can change this in mySQL. There are many features here, and more will be documented soon.
